Two merge modes for two different subtitle jobs
Append mode is for consecutive video parts whose subtitle clocks restart at zero. It moves each next file after the previous file ends and can insert a fixed gap. Shared-timeline mode keeps the original timecodes, sorts all cues, and is better for parallel tracks that already refer to the same video.
What the merger fixes automatically
- Duplicate cue numbers are rebuilt from one to the final cue
- Consecutive parts receive a consistent time offset

Review overlaps before publishing
Shared-timeline tracks may contain overlapping cues by design, especially with bilingual subtitles. The tool sorts those cues but does not decide which wording should win or stack two languages into one cue. Preview the result in your player before delivery.
FAQ
Should I append or keep the shared timeline?
Append files when each part starts near 00:00 and the videos will play one after another. Keep the shared timeline when both subtitle tracks already match the same full video.
Does merging change my subtitle text?
No. The tool changes cue ordering, numbering, and—in append mode—timing offsets. It does not translate or rewrite subtitle text.
Are the SRT files uploaded?
No. Parsing and merging happen locally in your browser, and the generated file is downloaded directly to your device.
