WebVTT (.vtt) is the web's caption format; SRT (.srt) is what most video editors, players, and social uploaders expect. The two differ in small but breaking ways — VTT uses a WEBVTT header and dot-separated milliseconds (00:00:01.500), SRT uses numbered cues and comma-separated milliseconds (00:00:01,500). This tool fixes all of that automatically.
